JCP: Announces $1 Billion Repurchase of Stock and Debt

اعلنت الشركة في يوم الاثنين الموافق 21-3-2005م انها ستدفع 1 بليون على اعادة شراء اسهمها وديونها --------------------------
حيث خصص مجلس ادارة الشركة مبلغ 750 مليون لإعادة شراء اسهمها العادية ومبلغ 250 مليون لاعادة شراء ديونها من السوق (السندات) التي انتهت في مارس 2005م . وسيكون تنفيذ برنامج الشركه خلال هذا العام .
J. C. Penney Company, Inc. (JCP) announced that its Board of Directors has approved a new $1 billion capital structure repositioning program. The new program is to be funded with approximately $600 million of free cash flow generated in 2004 and $400 million previously allocated to the early retirement of the 7.4% Debentures due 2037. The 2037 Debentures contained a put option that expired March 1, 2005, with virtually all of the debentures remaining outstanding. The program consists of $750 million of common stock repurchases and $250 million of open-market debt repurchases, and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

(TSRA) announced that it has signed a technology licensing agreement with Fujitsu Limited, a leading provider of customer-focused information technology and communications solutions for the global marketplace. Fujitsu utilizes Tessera's chip-scale packaging (CSP) technology in many semiconductor devices, including ASICs/ASSPs and system-on-chips (SOCs). Fujitsu provides these high performance semiconductors to the computing, networking, communications, automotive and consumer markets.
